Project Description
Lee County General Services awarded Racanelli Construction South the 8,600 square foot upfit of the basement in an existing jail facility project on April 3, 2012. The work generally consisted of the renovation of the basement to include an E-911 call center, emergency operations, detective offices, CSI crime lab, evidence storage, restrooms and break room.
The project was originally over budget and Lee County asked us to value engineer over $200,000 in savings from $1,033,000 to $832,375. The jail facility was completed on time and within budget. Work also consisted of installing day lighting (windows) in a high security jail detention area.
